NSS 2016 Head Start Modelling Competition
On June 24th, 2016, nine emerging sculptors buckled down and got to work. Their challenge was to model a bust from life in only three hours. On the line was $2,600 in prizes. To add to the pressure, they were watched by a live audience.
The nine sculptors are: Sequoyah Aono, Emily Bedard, Kevin Chambers, Zoe Dufour, Seunghwui Koo, Yelizaveta Masalimova, Charlie Mostow, Daniel Williams and Maria Willison.
NSS 2016 Portrait Modelling Demonstration
Five professional artists demonstrate a portrait modelling from a live subject in less than 3 hours. This event was part of the National Sculpture Society's Celebration Weekend, June 23-25, 2016. Artists featured are: Kate Brockman, Michael Keropian, Joshua Koffman, Simon Kogan and Alicia Ponzio.
