This is a short video of the 4-hour Richard McDermott Miller Modeling Competition at The Art Students League of New York. Sculptors included: Anthony Alemany, Alejandro Buchner, Rick Casali, Miguel del Rey, Rubin Gabeau, Justin Kendall, Evan Morse, Brittany Ryan, Robert Stutler and Gabrielle Trom.
Fellow sculptors and art patrons watched as the young artists sculpted from a live model in the timed competition. At the end of the event, the room was cleared of guests and competitors, the works were numbered, and an awards jury was ushered in to select the three top-winning sculptures.
